The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is an Ofqual-regulated qualification designed to meet the paediatric first aid requirements of the Department for Education's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

Ideal for nursery staff, early years practitioners, childminders and others responsible for the care of babies and children.

Delivered by serving firefighters with real-world emergency experience, this practical course gives learners the skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of paediatric emergencies.

Our blended option combines 6 hours of e-learning with 1 day (6 hours) of face-to-face practical training.

The e-learning is completed before attending the practical session, reducing time away from the workplace while still achieving the same regulated qualification.

Learners complete practical and written assessments throughout the course.

Successful learners receive the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification, valid for 3 years and designed to meet EYFS paediatric first aid requirements.
