Founded and delivered by serving fire service instructors, our team brings over a decade of frontline emergency experience directly into every course. We don’t just teach what’s in the manual - we teach what works when every second counts.

Our instructors are active firefighters who also teach within their fire services, bringing the same professionalism, teamwork, and calm-under-pressure approach that saves lives in real emergencies. We’ve even spent time alongside the London Ambulance Service HART team, learning advanced life-saving techniques to ensure our training reflects the realities of critical incidents.

My journey began while teaching first aid to firefighters within my service, where I discovered a genuine passion for helping others learn life-saving skills. That passion led me to start Safety Train, and I’ve continued to develop our courses to be highly practical, hands-on, and engaging - making them fun, realistic, and easy to remember.

After a life-changing accident, I also saw first-hand how vital mental wellbeing is during recovery. That experience inspired me to qualify as a Mental Health First Aid instructor, adding another crucial layer to the training we offer - helping workplaces build confidence not only in responding to physical emergencies but in supporting mental health too.

Today, we’re proud to work with clients across Hertfordshire and London, including hospitals, nurseries, retail businesses, construction companies, and schools - all of whom trust us to keep their teams confident, compliant, and prepared.

What truly sets us apart is our mission to give back. Through the Safety Train LifeSkills Project, every course delivered helps fund free first aid sessions for local schools, nurseries, parent groups, and youth organisations.
